The challenge at
JFF continues with the men theme and this week it is "Sporty Men". I choose a hanging, the base is from a cardboard box and I inked and rubbed metallic into the edges. The image is cut out from a graphics 45 (I think) sheet of paper called "Coney Island" (I thought they looked like swimmers). I ran a paper through my pleater gadget and a piece of blue that looked like waves through an emboss folder the circles depict bubbles. I have rubbed and distressed the papers added gold leaf, washers to continue the bubbles thingy and fibres that look like sand and waves. My handsome sporty swimmers. I had a lot of fun doing this hanging and at last I think I am getting the hang of stuff for men. Ladies you mission is accomplished LOL. Hugs All and thanks for looking . Fantastic Sandra--I had a wool cossie like that when I was kid-they always grew in the water lol

Ooooooh.....what a trio, dont they look great ? One of my vintage photos shows a guy in a knitted one piece like this style, it doesnt leave much to the imagination hehehe (bless him , i bet he didnt realise when it was being taken)

Some really good looking hunks there! And love the fact that its a hanger - makes it that bit different.
Well Sandra, you have pulled it off again with your men. This is a fabulous hanging and so much has gone into it. Love all the ideas behind each of the layers and all the little details you have incorporated. The eyelets at the right hand side look like buoys bobbing about on the ocean. As for your other boys, they are very handsome indeed.
Thanks for a super challenge entry and I am so glad you had fun with it, thanks also for pushing yourself these past weeks out of your comfort zone - but look at what you have achieved.
