The Artful Times Ribbon & Lace

Challenge 5 over at The Artful Times is Ribbon and Lace, fantastic theme ladies (3 cheers) I just love lace, fabric, ribbon that's why my sewing cupboard is bulging LOL, trouble is I hate to use it up I just like looking at it LOL. Well I had this frame painted for a while now with sky blue and crackled using stormy sky, never really new what to do next with it but the theme gave me inspiration. I used graphics 45 paper for the back drop and a piece of double sided blue / pink which I rolled back to reveal the activity in the shop. I stamped around the frame with sewing theme stamps and added metal scissors and a corner piece. the lace flowers are stained with antique linen and weathered wood DI the fan is ribbon and again stained I used a piece of jute with buttons on top. The shop sign has a blue ribbon rose. The heart well its because I just love the theme. Thanks for looking and for the lovely comments that are  left I really appreciate them.

I think this is great Sandra the way you have a torn the paper to reveal the image behind and the little touches of ribbon and lace perfect:)

hi Sandra! I know the feeling when you think "oh I like that but i cant use it, its too nice"! I love what you have done, particularly where you have rolled the paper up to show the activity in the shop - so clever and lots of thought. Cx

Love this little frame with all the gorgeous elements to spot! My favourite part is the 'torn' paper that we get to peek through to see everything! Lovely work Sandra.
