Artful Times Ch Pin it

Hello and I do hope you are all managing to fit in some crafting time.
The ladies over at Artful Times are keeping us on our toes
with the latest challenge and it is a tricky one.
They are asking for something that can be pinned..
I decided to stick with my vintage style I am happiest in,
and used a simply cardboard disk which I painted with pale grey then stippled gold with a dry brush. It is then stamped with a floral swirl and I stuck some seed beads around the edges added some tiny flowers (I have had for years)
a punched out butterfly.
That left a gap which I looked at for days before I added the image and I think it works LOL.
It has been finish with cinnamon stickles in the centre of the flowers and around the edge.
I have added the back photo to show the pin, I shall wear it on a scarf maybe.

Thank you for all your kind comments on my previous Artful Times challenge post. I really do appreciate them. :)

Enjoy bank holiday weekend.

Hugs Sandra XXX

I love that brooch. Bet it looks even better (if possible) in real life. Love the addition of the seed beads on the edge. This has got me thinking - might be on a brooch making session now.

Thanks for joining us at Artful Times - Hugs, Neet xx (so sorry I am so late, not a clue what happened)
