This week the
Dragon DT has set a theme of "Mother" inspiration from Pink Floyd and a must is some embroidery. My tag is called "Timeless" because no matter how old the kids get we still love them and worry about them. I used a crafty individuals image of a Mother and Child which has been crackled and rubbed with DI. The image is sewn to a piece of my precious vintage lace and here is the embroidery (I confess this is done with my sewing machine). I have also used a piece of page from an old book. The key is chipboard and I have used Tim Holtz embossing technique to make it look rusty. the background is DI scattered straw, bundled sage, dried marigold and worn lipstick background stamping in sepia and worn lipstick. The clocks showing the timeless theme.

Wonderful tag Sandra. I enlarged it to see all the fab detail. Such a lot of work but really worth it. The crackle effect looks great.
